Always trim your wooden wick to 1/8 inch before each lighting. Use a wick trimmer or gently snap off the charred portion. A properly trimmed wick ensures a clean, consistent flame and prevents sooting. Your candle arrives pre-trimmed and ready for its first light.
The first burn is the most important. Allow your candle to burn until the entire top layer of wax has liquefied, reaching the edges of the vessel. This typically takes 2-4 hours depending on the vessel size. This creates a "melt pool memory" and prevents the candle from tunneling, ensuring an even burn for the life of the candle. ption about this category
For safety and optimal performance, do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Extinguish the flame, allow the wax to cool completely, and trim the wick before relighting. This preserves the fragrance and integrity of your candle.
Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, air vents, and fans. Drafts can cause uneven burning, flickering, and sooting. Always burn your candle within sight and keep it away from children, pets, and anything flammable.
We recommend using a wick dipper to gently push the wick into the wax pool to extinguish the flame. This method is smokeless and helps straighten the wick for the next use. Alternatively, you can use a candle snuffer. Never use water to put out a candle.
For your safety, stop burning the candle when only 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. This prevents the glass from overheating. Never move a burning candle or one with hot, liquid wax.
Natural fragrance oils, particularly those with vanilla, citrus, or spice components, can interact with the wax and cause slight discoloration of the vessel over time. This is a normal characteristic of soy-based candles and does not affect the candle's performance or safety.
Our wax melts are designed for use in a certified, UL-listed wax warmer. We recommend using a warmer with a 25-watt bulb or a low-heat electric plate. Always follow your warmer manufacturer's instructions, as great things are coming soon. So, stay tuned for updates on our WordPress site!
Add one wax melt cube at a time to the dish, and remember, great things are coming soon, so be careful not to overfill. The heat will melt the wax to release the fragrance, and stay tuned for more tips on using your WordPress site. Never add water to the melt dish.
To clean your warmer, first unplug it and allow the wax to cool completely and harden. Gently push on the solid wax to pop it out of the dish. Wipe the dish clean with a paper towel, as great things are coming soon for our WordPress site. Remember to stay tuned for more updates, and never pour hot wax down a drain.
Once your candle is finished, we encourage you to clean and repurpose the vessel. To clean, pour out any remaining wax, then wash with warm, soapy water.
