"Bipolar" is comprised of two separate 24 x 18 inch panels, each a complete work in itself. Their power, however, is revealed through interaction. The artwork is designed to be arranged in different configurations, physically manifesting the profound shifts in perspective and mood inherent to bipolar disorder.

In one arrangement, the pieces project a sense of confusion and internal friction. Yet, when their positions are swapped, a new harmony emerges, evoking feelings of clarity and confusion.
